Chiefs getting Eric Berry’s nd spencer Ware back

bpickin, good news but you gotta wonder just how healthy Eric Berry is...reading the commentary from the Chiefs websites, I get the feeling he is still banged up...too bad. He sat out for the Colts' game though he played in games 15 and 16 in the regular season. 

Hope that Ware can add to the KC run offense and give it some added pop along with Damien Williams. 

I have access to a book that opened the game at KC -3 1/2 and it hasn't budged in four days...

Berry did play weeks 15 and 16.  Berry came back vs the Chargers and was on snap count and played only the first half as KC held the Chargers to 7 first half points.  He did play the whole game on the road vs Seattle where after the game his heel flared up again.  While he isn’t the dominating safety he has been in the past you can’t underestimate the positive impact it will have in the kc defense in this game at arrowhead.  

Berry haven’t play all year? What impact can he make ..

Actually, the prices associated with the line have changed dramatically. Prior to this news, KC -3, -100 was widely available. The line now at 5dimes has swung to -3, -113. That's a significant pricing difference in the line. The line is closer to sniffing a move to 3.5 than you may think.

Ware makes little impact.  I could care less about Ware.  If anything a little fumble prone. 

Berry makes a significant impact.  Not only will he lock down Gronk and help in the run game but he is literally the QB on that defense.  More he is the DC on that defense.  Even when he was on the sidelines in joggers he was the coach for that defense.  They looked to him for leadership and inspiration and fire.  On the field, he is the general of that defense.  They will play better as a unit.

if it was up to Brady. i think he'd test Berry mental and physical sharpness with Gronk over the middle.

That in my mind would be a huge mistake. Gronk is not who Gronk once was. Yes, I can say the same about Berry, but Berrys impact on this game is far greater than Gronks. This man battled and won cancer, and he is constantly making plays when hes on the field. Gronk has seem to lost the passion of football, while on the other hand you can see it in Berry's eyes.....cancer free, semi-healthy. I'll take a HOF safety who's truly battle tested vs a guy who seems to like to party a lot and has lost his love for the game.......didnt he say he wanted to pursue a career in acting? A waste to me......personal opinion from a die hard Chiefs fan.....no hate, just opinion
