Another Super Bowl is upon us. Last year it was very painful to watch the Chiefs regain life in the second half and etch out a win against my biggest position, the 49ers. In that game, Moody missed an extra point, and a muffed punt with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter gave the Chiefs a short field, and they scored on a 16 yard pass the next play. On paper, there is little doubt that the 49ers were better at every single position except for coaching and QB. The year prior to that, the Eagles were winning by 7 in the second quarter and were driving to go up by 14. Hurts fumbled the ball and it was returned for a touchdown to tie the game and completely shift the momentum of the game. Instead of being up by 14, the Eagles were tied going into half. Point being, the Chiefs capitalize on other team's mistakes and they are so well coached and rarely commit mistakes themselves that it becomes incredibly difficult to defeat.
They have developed this narrative by the public as cheaters and whiners, some claiming that the League gives favoritism towards them (Listen to Nick Wright's take on how ridiculous this is as the league is owned by 32 independent owners). They know how to game plan and everyone knows Andy Reids record with extra time to prepare.
Other key stats that caught my eye included the fact that Patrick Mahomes is 8-0 lifetime against Eagles DC Vic Fangio. I actually really liked the acquisition of OC Kellen More and DC Vic Fangio but as good as they have been, obviously everyone would still give the coach edge to Reid and Spagnola. I think the Chiefs will come out fired up to make history. They will pass the ball successfully, and march down the field and score on the opening drive.
I think asking these rookie corners, who have been phenomenal all year, to game plan and scheme and cover the chiefs receivers is going to be too much. I see the game ending 24-20, andI like the Chiefs to three peat and for the game to go under 49.
I have no official play on the total. I have a future for 1.5 units at 59/1 for the Eagles to defeat the Chiefs to win 90 units. I have hedged this position and the more I breakdown this game adn the more I think about this game, the more I like the Chiefs and have shifted my position as such. Can't go against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes after what happened last year. BOL everyone

I agree. I shifted my position in favor of the chiefs. Have you seen Mahomes this week. He looks laser locked in. A Jordan type aura to him. I think 2 weeks is just too long for anyone to put coach Andy Reid and what he can cook up in that time.
I know it seems like ancient history but does anyone recall what Stafford was able to do on the final drive of the game against the Eagles secondary. I think the Chiefs will dink and dunk their way down the field and will control the pace of the game. If they get a lead it will be bad for the Eagles.
Public is sick of the chiefs and is backing eagles, and I’m sure if they win there will be talks of favoritism and cheating which is ridiculous. if that were the case why not bet the Chiefs. Public on Eagles, and the line hasn’t really moved despite public money and almost everyone on this forum on the eagles….i think Chiefs get it done because they are so used to these game and they have the edge at QB and coaching which matters the most. The Eagles are outclassed here.
