Knowing all the gold rush from the Bay Area coming in on the Niners explains why they’re favored in this game. It’s simple Niners are favored b/c more money is forecasted being bet on them due to the gold rush bankroll some that is controlled by very few in California. The value lies with KC. Good luck!

That was in 1990 at the LV Hilton when he told me that. He was book manger there at that time. Maybe things have changed a little since then but that was always a huge factor then.
Love watching the gold rush movies!

wow I liked the over in the game just seems really low for a SB and especially these 2 teams whose h2h matchups in the past have all flown over the total!

Anything can happen. Special team scores, pick 6s, scoop and scores, long def pass interferences, all can lead to points BUT
a clean game with logical game scripts could produce a lower scoring game. If you think that the 9ers want to keep Mahommes on the sidelines as their
game script then successfully running the all and the clock limiting KC's number of possessions will be the focus. I think that can be done as KC's run defense
is NOT elite. CMC balls out and wins MVP as Shanny gets his SB win. SF 27-13

The thing I don't get about this take is that SF's defense hasn't been all that good in the playoffs. What makes you guys think SF will be controlling the tempo and playing with a lead?

Been hearing book managers say there will be a landslide of Niner money coming in this weekend from people coming in from California. Books will need KC come game time.

Time has changed ever since more and more states legalizing sports betting, now we have 38 states and Washington DC legalized sports betting. Bets handle from the sportsbook in State of Nevada will expect to count only 13% in the total share of the SB 58 wagering pie. Even the handle from State of New York will contribute around 12.4% of the total volume.
Yes, I agree that California bettors play huge role for the Nevada sportsbooks. But the size of this wagering pie is so huge, Nevada books count only low teen percentage to the pie.
