I was in the car listening to the end of the game on Sirius.
The Washington announcers are horrible. Anyway on Washington's final drive here was the final series of plays according to the announcers.
1st down - 9 yard pass down to the 3 2nd down - Incomplete pass 3rd down - Torrain loses 3 yards back to the 6th 4th down - Incomplete pass 5th down - TD and then a missed XP
The announcers acted like nothing was wrong. I was scratching my head wondering how the hell I just pushed TB -1 and how Washington got 5 downs (reminded me of that famous Missouri game a few years ago) and then on the post game show, one of the guys said Washington got 5 downs at the end of the game. I then went to ESPN Mobile and it showed two different 4th down plays meaning it was 5th down.
Did anyone see it?
This might have been previously discussed and I missed it so if I did, I apologize.

that first down actually gained 10yds not 9yds giving them a new first down (according to NFL.com), must have been some confusion at the time as I was watching it and thought they had failed on 4th down.

The error was in giving the Redskins first and goal from the 3, when it should have been 2nd and 1 from the 3. What a joke it was though seriously. Refs took no time to discuss or to make sure they had it right at any point before the touchdown was scored. The game was fixed from the get go, they didn't even try to hide it.

Thanks guys....the guys on the radio said they were clearly a yard short on the first down play and seems like everyone else agrees....Wash never should've gotten that additional play.
