I was looking at a schedule to eye down my suicide pick for next week, and saw the Saints are playing @NYJ. I'm guessing the line will be in the 3.5/4 area.
Was wondering some opinions on whether you guys think the Jets will be able to pound the rock against the Saints. Homers from both sides are very welcome.

I hit the Saints over Buffalo last week, and watching that game, I saw a lot of big holes open up against that Saint defense. Not that Buffalo had a huge day on the ground as once they got down, they started throwing like crazy, but early in the game Jackson and Choice were gashing them left and right all over the field. Couple plays came close to real big hitters if not for some good open field tackling by safeties and linebackers.
I was looking at the Jets and thinking if they can stick to the run game like they did against NE and Buffalo where they kept handing it off to Ivory and Powell respectively, they can really keep Brees off the field and chew up TOP and they had a great shot at pulling an upset.
Most likely I'm backing off as I see better plays on the board, but jets +6 or so are still a huge lean for me. I contacted two of my closest buddies who are hardcore Jet fans, and they don't seem to have much faith. Both seem to think NO will be up so quick that the run game will be abandoned, but I don't know if they realized yet, the jets are much better at home, sport a top 6 defense(first in rushing), and the Saints aren't the same team on the road.
But just a lean for now.
