Seems like every teaser looks like a good play. But they rarely turn out profitable.

Teasers are easy money. I don't post plays as I find it's bad juju, but I discuss plays and such with 'Pix', who also plays nfl and Ncaaf teasers.
In nfl, I generally play 12 point sides at 1100/1000.
In Ncaaf, I play mostly overs with some sides mixed in, 3tm/10pts.
Up 11 units in NFL, 7 in Ncaaf.

I've made a lot of money off teasers by betting them big but have usually lost them right back. I lost my a$$ on teasers today. Bills +9, UNDER 53, & the Bengals/Falcons O39.5. Ofcourse reliable kicker Mike Nujent misses 3 FGS

Teasers are good if you pick good picks. 3 team 10 point teasers are the best kinda teaser IMO though.

3 team tease is 7to 1 u lose Push you lose . and you pay a lot more juice There is no logical way anyone could consistently win at them .Not saying they don't but its pure luck . I did see one thread from MONEY TALKS the guy was something like 8-2 1st 2 weeks. He was up $600 this week ,(on covers) .I read some one told him quit while you are ahead no way you can keep that up the odds are beyond against you . Lets see . ..

I show a profit playing teasers almost every year. They can be beaten for sure. If you don't think so, then why has the books upped the juice on them ?
And if you think it's pure luck to win teasers then you have no clue how to play them. First of all you have to actually cap the game, way too many people I see just tease a line without capping at all.
There is a method to what looks like madness. Oh yes there is.

I do small..when doing reg plays...4 tm 13 pts...usually play overs..nothing big though..2 nite I have sm. open 1..2 nite I have philly plus 16.5 an over like 33.5 ish..so it looks good but they don't call em TEASERS 4 nothing...goodluck..I.M.OSeems like every teaser looks like a good play. I like teasers myself -
On Sat. - I hit 2 - 2 team teasers - one for the afternoon games and then one for the 8:00 games.
Yesterday I almost hit a 4 team teaser - I only needed SF - 1 to win 
I got to greedy - need to stick to 2 teamers only.
I have one going for tonight and for thurs - ( combined nights )

You are correct but there's one drawback, you either make a killing or go bust for that week which I find not suitable for most gamblers.

my business associate, baby is correct...money can be made on teasers. but you have to use them to create value where none exists. I see players post teasers where they tease a 3 pt fave down to + 3....they defeat the purpose of the teaser...there is more value to tease a live dog to 9 to 10 pts than not get the line off a key number...

Well that is the difference between gamblers and investors. You don't make money every week. But in the long run you collect year after year. Also Baby_BA and Pigskinpicker understand completely.
