The Colts are practicing there first team offense against there first team defense full speed. Probably short of hitting Payton though.
They say they have never done this before, but because the last few times they have gone into the playoffs they were a little flat, this will get them ready.
I'm not sure you want to do preseason drills before a playoff game. Shouldn't you just be confident in your system, and just make sure everyone is on the same page?

i guess it will be smart as long as nobody gets injured as a result... although it does give you the impression that the Colts are getting in their own heads about how to win a game off of 2 1/2 weeks rest...

Reading this annoys the hell out of me. That idiot Caldwell is such a fucking moron. Its like he purposely pulled Peyton out of the game in Week 16 just so he could remain true to his bullshit word about not caring about 16-0. Fucking moron! Peyton's played his whole damn career without serious injury, do you think another quarter and a half of game time to maintain an undefeated season is going to injure him? But then what does this imbecile do? The next week, he starts Peyton in the frigid and snowy conditions in Buffalo. Now hes got his 1st team going 100% against each other in practice. What a fucking dumb shit!
I think Goodell should import a Taliban execution crew for the halftime show in the IND/BAL game. At halftime they can drive their little Nissan pickup to midfield with Caldwell's fatass in the bed, kick his ass out and blast him in the back of the head with an AK - like they used to do to adulterers and such back when the 'Ministry for the Prohibition of Vice and Virtue' ran the show. I'd buy a midfield ticket and drive to Indy just for that.

Gee, just think, they could have practiced vs the Jets and Bills.
no shit! if they wanted full contact drills, why not take it out on an opponent while also giving yourself a chance at history?
this just makes no sense...
the Colts are the only team left in the playoffs that i like even a little bit... hate most of these teams... hate the Ravens in particular...
but i think the Colts are done for! they lost the Super Bowl three weeks ago to the Jets... all of their mojo was lost, and now they are facing a team with a whole lot of mojo... from a handicapping standpoint, you have to make the Colts the big favorite... but from a realistic standpoint, this game should be a pick em... it is absolutely 50/50 whether or not Indy wins...
