Eagles @ Vikings

DeSean is most likely out and outside of the Packers game where they were dedicated to the run game their offense has been very inconsistent.  They blew out the Jets at home but that was mostly on the back of the defense (up against a completely inept offense...of course they knew that and may have coasted a bit).  Eagles have lots of injuries in secondary...Sidney Jones likely back but is coming off a hammy and it popped back up immediately last year (vs Saints) when he had the same issue.  After Douglas/Jones their next two healthy corners weren't even on the team 2-3 weeks ago.  Cousins blows, but he has historically fared well vs the Eagles (from Washington days). 

If Vikes game plan to attack via short pass game against Eagles soft defensive coverage, they should have success. If they try to force the issue with their new found offensive balance and run a lot on 1st/2nd then could be facing a lot of 3rd and longs.  

Sacks definitely misleading for Eagles...they haven't been able to generate any consistent pressure in any of the first 4 games.  They had 3 sacks in first 4 games and then exploded for 10 LW vs the putrid Jets (as the OP mentioned).  Cox getting no offseason work due to the foot injury has led to a slow start for him as he's the key to their pressure from front 4.  Maybe he's starting to round into form or maybe the lack of DT play around him (Jackson OFY and Jernigan still sidelined) is an issue again this year.

All the Eagles games this season except for Jets one has been decided by 7pts or less.
