Falcons could of won this with 2 FGs

why did they go for it instead of kicking the FG when they still had under 5 mins to go.. they would of been in field goal position to seal this game.. I don’t understand these NFL coaches ..

Yep so i lost w baylor last night, lost w this nonsense coaching decision tonight, and missed the pitts td by a yard to rub salt in the wound. 

I dont understand at all. They still had 4 mins left in the game there was no reason to go for the td whatsoever especially since their defense was getting stops throughout the game

NFL coaches know they're not going to beat Mahomes by playing it safe or by scoring field goals.  How many comebacks has he had in the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter? Most teams will go for the TD vs the Chiefs/Mahomes.  Hindsight is 20/20, easy to called the game after it ended.

ive had my success with college football so far this season. The NFL however is a different story. I’m taking a break from it and probably won’t be back until week 8 or 9.. need the dust to settle it’s a complete crapshoot right now.

Chiefs had the worst ATS last season...they always play this way, swagger + stagger, but get the results when it matters.

I'm done with the game, but seems to me the Chiefs defense played pretty good when it mattered. They were gassed, but when it was 3rd and 1, they seemed to tighten their resoolve and got two stops in a row they wanted, with game on the line. Very few plays would have made it, and coach wanted a tried and tested play, and that dive play off tackle was open for a few yards all game long. Have to credit Chiefs' defense for those two stops.

He has a tactical offense that has to be managed, not one that takes risks, has motion all over the place, so going for it on 4th down twice, and failing twice, is trying to force them to get results, get TDs, but it is best to stay in character, and play your way, not try Joe Montana miracle plays. Try it ONCE, and then you have an excuse to go conservative and kick a FG, because you failed earlier.

He seems like a good coach, and holds players accountable. He dialed upo a play that worked earlier, but KC stepped it up in crunch time. Why they have a trophy in their trophy case.

This happened is a couple games today. Coaches being stupid is just the new norm. 

They could of played all night the falcons were not going to win the game. 

Hypothetically yes but would KC have run same plays from 30 as they did from their 6 yd line.  Would ATL have ended up with same field position off the punt, unlikley.  Wish they kicked FG ATL was last leg of 110× PL and I didn't hedge. Onto next week

 Chiefs record Ats last year 9-7-1 in regular season. Not worse record by far.

Cousins also gave them 3 before the half, would of made it easier at the end... Also last play call was terrible, you have to throw the ball, but cousins would of gagged
