Atlanta -10.5 will cover. I feel it'll be a 3 touchdown or more victory, but I'm stating a somewhat conservative line that could still be considered a "blowout". So I guess one could debate whether or not an 11 point victory constitutes a "blowout" or not. But anyway you slice it, Atlanta covers the -10.5 at the end of the game.
Reasons: No Gronkowski for the Patriots will definitely hurt the Patriots in this game. The competition level is higher so that's when the loss of a key player like Gronkowski will be felt the most. Absolutely no big name or reliable runner for the Pats with Blount. But the Falcons have Freeman and Coleman who are scary good. The Pats can't pass deep down the field effectively, but Matt Ryan can. Brady's dink and dunk game will not be good enough even with the master game planner , Bill Billichik(sp). You can have the greatest game plan in the world, but if you don't have the personnel to implement it, it'll fail. The Falcons have all pro receiver Julio Jones who can't be defended.
I like the over 58.5 for the game because once the offenses get tuned up, these defenses will crumble like a hot knife cutting through melted butter. But, I like the under 28.5 for the 1st half. I think the defenses might hold for a short while. I mean if it's 14-14 at the half, you hit the under! But the defenses are not the trump cards in this game, the offenses are. So after half time, the stronger side(the offenses) should make the necessary adjustments and just pour it on in the 2nd half. No letting up here...

Atlanta will destroy New England today. Conservatively speaking, Atlanta -10.5. Atlanta's Ryan can actually make deep field passes successfully, unlike the dink and dunk Brady. New England has no names on their team besides dink and dunk Brady. On paper stats for New England's defense means absolutely nothing when most of those stats any defense would've collected big on. I mean New England is playing alot of backup quarterbacks and poor offensive type teams. Atlanta has a pair of great runningbacks where Freeman can cut on a dime faster than any back I've seen. Coleman is a great compliment. Julio Jones, star wide receiver, cannot be defended on many of his routes. Matt Ryan, MVP, just beat up on the hottest team in the NFL, Green Bay. And the listless, aging , dink and dunk Brady got by beating a bad road team in Pittsburgh.
Seems like Atlanta -10. 5 at +450 is the way to go.
Change your bet and you can thank me later!
