Over the years, I have heard both sides to this arguement, your comments?

Lets say the line comes out and its 6 days until kickoff.
The line is -14/+14 on 'whatever' game.

You really like the dog (+14)...... is it best to WAIT?......... waiting usually benefits the dog OR is it the other way around, waiting benefits the favorite? Meaning, the line moves in the next 6 days?

You really have to know which way the line is going be moving in order for you to justify playing the opening line 6 days before kickoff. It depends on many, many factors that you or I probably don't have access too.
