$50 Seattle Seahawks ML +300
Taking the Seahwaks tonight in this Divisonal game. These two teams to me are really close in talent and philosophy. Although I will give a slight edge to San Fran. San Fran is also playing at home so that gives them another slight edge. The Seahawks have been in every game they have played this year, and I expect that to continue tonight. Pete Carrol has gotten this team to buy into what he preaches. They are very solid defensively, which is why they will always have a shot to win the game. Their defensive line should be able to get similar pressure on Alex Smith that the Giants did on Sunday. We saw what happened in that game. Alex Smith was horrible. The Seahawks are also smart enough not to give the game away by turning it over and giving the 49ers easy points. When you make the 49ers drive the entire field, they are very average on offense. Both the Vikings and Giants were able to do this to the 49ers, and both resulted in losses for them. I'm not saying the 49ers will lose the game, but I don't expect complete domination either. These teams know each other very well. Expect a close defensive battle tonight.
Prediction: Seattle pulls the upset 17-16.

$50 Arizona St. ML +255
I know what Oregon is capable of but this to me is their first true test this season, and it comes on the road against a very good Arizona St. team. Arizona St. has kept this game close the past 2 years and they are even better defensively this year. They have the ability to slow Oregon down because they have seen it many times before. Oregons defense will be tested in this one as well. I'm not ready lay 8.5 on the road with a somewhat unproven team in the ducks. We will see if they live up to the hype tonight, but it wouldn't shock me if they falter and lose this one SU.
Prediction: Oregon wins on the final drive 34-31

$100 SMU ML +170
Another home dog with SMU. SMU has played better competition than Houston first off. This game in my mind should be a pk. It's prolly not because Vegas knows that Houston has been a popular name in years past and can get away with them being favored. Fact is they are going on the road for only the second time this year, the first being dominated by UCLA. SMU Should be able to move the ball with ease tonight, and will be motivated to beat Houston, after getting beat by them handily the last 2 years. Take SMU and the points.
Prediction: SMU wins 38-30
$100 New York Yankees ML -115
Any time CC is pitching with a price at -115, I can't pass that up. New York desperately needs a W to keep the season alive and I think they get it tonight.
Prediction: Yankees win 4-1.
