Week 16 Texans at KC matchup had KC -3.5 with a total of 42.5

Opener was KC -8 with same total but dropping now to 41.5

KC is expecting another artic blast to come thru this weekend, timing could be Saturday early day into the evening.  Expect wind chills near the negatives once the sun goes down, 2nd half at least, will be watching forecast as week progresses.  

Nice win by Texans and Herbert's 4 picks.  Texans only win versus playoff teams in season was week 5 vs. Bills.  This was Buffalo coming off their first loss of year on the road at Baltimore, sandwiched between 3 straight road games.  Texans also failed to cover their first 4 games of the year, finally hitting their first cover week 5.  

Team totals are 17.5 Hou and 26.5 KC are interesting considering last matchup finished 27-19 KC.  Houston finished bottom 5 in RZ offense and KC 8th in RZ defense....not much hope for Texans to go over this total.  Everyone and their grandma will have KC tied into teaser spots, which this being the first game of the weekend isn't too horrible.

I think you overestimate how many people play teasers. I never do but that's because i live in Europe and they aren't a thing here, but even if I would I wouldn't anyway. They're sucker bets that's why the bookies offer them.

I often find those same suckers are convinced that games are fixed when they lose their teasers and parlays and player props and all the other things poor squares bet on
