Honestly, this reminds me of the same game last year. I was sold on the Rams because of San Fran being in a slump and the 49ers came out like they were on a mission.

It feels like the same exact game to me 9/26/13 TNF prime time San Fran on the road favored by 3.5 against St Louis. The 49ers were the public favorite by at least 75%.

San Fran won 35-11.

Last season&#x27;s scenario is much different than tonight&#x27;s game. Not saying who is gonna cover but I&#x27;m sure the SF D got worse while the Ram&#x27;s O got better.  And many other reasons. Tonight will be the night where you see all the squares come out calling sharps dumb or vice versa.

Yes it is the same scenario as last year in regard to the public being all over the road fave on a prime time stage. However, there are a few differences as well ...

1. Rams are wearing throwback uniforms tonight to honor the 1999 GSOE team. Some big names will be in the house tonight. It' s going to be hard for a ram player to just go thru the motions.

2. The rams hate the niners. Every ram player and ram fan knows that.

3. Jeff Fisher was on the losing end of that 1999 Super Bowl game. The former Titan coach is all about image and he will use this opportunity to save his reputation as a "good coach". He is good for a couple "big wins" each year only to disappoint overall.

4. The rams defense has not lived up to expectations this season. They have been embarrassed almost every week and have only managed one sack all year! One sack! This was supposed to be the next coming of the Fearsome Foursome but all the hype has been just that. Hype.

I can see the rams winning this game straight up. Fisher has a track record of winning games like this.

This is my major problem with this line. Just like denver (which got a miracle to cover), and san diego yesterday, they could have added 3 points to the line and got two way action, this line dictates one sided action only.
