Guaranteed Break Even or Win if Pats Win

So I don't have a way to transfer a large sum of money into Bovada before the games today but I was messing around and discovered at their current odds for all 4 teams to win the Superbowl this bet would make sense.

Bovada Odds to Win SB52:

Pats +105

Vikings +230

Eagles +600

Jaguars +600

 

So...if you bet as follows you'd win $3000+ if Pats win and break even in any other outcome:

 

Pats $10000 to win $10500

Vikings $4347 to win $10000

Eagles $1666 to win $10000

Jaguars $1666 to win $10000

 

4347+1666+1666 = 7679

If Pats win $10500 - 7679 = $2821 profit.  You obviously break even if the Pats don't win the Superbowl.

 

If you are on the Pats and have over 5k in your account (or enough to make this lucrative to you) I suggest thinking about this approach!

its simple do the math if Eagles /Jags/or Vikes win , you are losing money

No disrespect, but the math is way off. You don't break even if Pats don't win.The ONLY outcome for profit is the Pats win it all base on your #.

Example if Vikes win the SB:
Won: 10k
Loss:10k Pats, Eagles 1666, Jax 1666

"Pats $10000 to win $10500

Vikings $4347 to win $10000

Eagles $1666 to win $10000

Jaguars $1666 to win $10000"

if pats did not win, say jaguars won it:

you'd lose 10000+4347+1666

less the 10000 you won from jaguars

so you lost 4347+1666

Lol I was struggling to get your math to work out. I simply saw Pats at 10,000 and Vikings at 4347 and knew right away there was no breaking point. Its never that easy

Hahaha Dude don't feel bad!!  A few years ago my wife went to Cali, we live in Indiana, and was all happy about her fantastic idea.  Because of the time difference I would know the ending here before the game started!!!! Hahahaha  Hmmm She also thought the trash pickup was the same day EVERYWHERE in the city hahaha.  She is sweet and hot at least, hmm kinky too hahaha.  Not a big deal.  Hell I thought the online book messed up years ago and kept the baseball lines up so I bet the days winners.  I actually hit haha but still the points, we all have been there.  You made my angry day funny at least, my dumb behind did the math before reading the whole thread :)

+105 right isn't that great, you will do better betting game by game, get into live betting, last year Pats were +2000 down 28-3.  Not saying same will happen but +105 is not that tempting imo.
