Happy New Year , it's that time again

Nothing that brings us together quite like playoff football. I have definitely been out of the sports betting loop and half following the NFL this season haven't watched many games maybe a little over a dozen games from beginning to end.

Thanks sacramoni. Everything is good with me. needed to make a few changes for myself for the better in 2024. That is to say, this hobby isn't a focal point like it once was but I still love football and hopefully it will be a fun one.

I made my first bet last month since the Super Bowl. 10 months without a bet is pretty crazy to me but refreshing change of pace to say the least. I'll be around for a little bit to talk football and perhaps maybe be back here for the Super Bowl

I was looking for ya in this forum, until today. Your Ravens are back in the tourney again this year. The adding of Derrick Henry helps Ravens a big notch, but how will Lamar Jackson perform in this postseason? Guess we shall see.

What's up Europa. Nice to see some familiar faces again 

Took a little bit longer for me to get a pulse on this team. Aside from the Derrick Henry trade , I did not follow my team's off-season moves much but was skeptical about this team going into the season, especially on the defensive side. But I tell ya what, they have surprised me this year and it's the best I've seen Lamar Jackson play, even better than 2019. I started watching more Ravens games as the season went on they are fun to watch on offense and the defense is spicing things up as well. We shall see. I put a future bet on them last month during their bye week. the only bet I've made this season thus far lol.

Can't say I've done too bad myself with the handicapping considering how long I been going at it, I believe I did this for 14 straight years(which kinda surprises me). 8 of them good years. I know a few guys that lost way more at this in a shorter span so for that im fortunate I've never had to beg or borrow from anyone. Never got to that point I've kept it manageable. But yea it did become a bit too obsessive to the point I started feeling burnt out. I needed to go out and start living a bit more normal. So far life is good
