How would the Redskins first round draft pick in 2012 be affected by a redskins win?

They would barely be in the top 10...


How would the Redskins first round draft pick in 2012 be affected by a redskins loss?

They would have a shot to be in the top 5 if they lose the rest...

Will Shanahan be with the redskins next year? YES (he signed a 5 year deal in 2010)
Who is the offensive coordinator for the redskins? HIS SON?!

Mike Shanahan is making 7 million dollars per year to make the right moves for his organization...THE RIGHT MOVE FOR THE REDSKINS ORGANIZATION THIS WEEKEND IS TO LOSE TO THE GIANTS. Next year come playoff time are people going to remember a late season victory that meant nothing or the cream of the crop pick the skins got in the 2012 nfl draft?


-290 giants moneyline should tell you all you have to know about this one...good luck everybody

Brody rocks!  Wow maybe you should make the decisions because that is a nice idea, ego's will prevail in the end, meaning I am not sure how easy it is for these teams to intentionally lose without a guaranteed superstar waiting for them.

No...He tells his son over dinner about the benefits of losing...His son in turn calls a predictable set of plays.  Take a look at the JAGS play calling from thursday for an idea

Skins have 2 needs to make them a very serious contender next season.

1. Solid QB (3 solid QBs in the draft)

2. Solid Receiver (3 solid receivers in the draft)

Skins pick top 10 and they could land their #1 QB or #1 receiver..just saying.

 

and they don't have to lose out to pick up or sign any of these players. if you hadn't noticed already...shanny been cleaning up the cap and they are not signing any big names. they are building this team through the draft and picking top 5 is a bank breaker money wise for these owners - which shanny will not do or try to lose games to do. if it happens, it happens. but these skins match up well with the gmen and their defense, running game, home field is HUGE. Gmen may lose imo. eli played out of his mind vs. Pats and won, dropped off for a few games, played out of his mind against Dallas....so he is ready for a letdown vs. gmen.

point is...shanny not going to throw any games so he can get a top 5 pick..just bs, lol.

Totally agree with you!

There actually is a lot of different examples that goes along with yours that I believe a lot of organizations consider late in the year.

I do believe that a lot of teams throw in the towel when they have nothing left to play for, as well as players that don't give it their all, when their is nothing at stake except an injury or PRIDE (LOL).

But then again this is Rival game, we do know how much is in stake for this game, especially with Cowgirls winning today. Your ML Gmen bet should be good as Redskins have yet to sweep the Gmen. Last time Skins swept Gmen was the 1999-2000 season. I have a small play on Skins, we see what happens.......But GL bro....

Just look at Eli last big game....was against Pats right? He played a perfect game in the 4th...how many games ago was that til Dallas? 2....maybe 3?

I am stating facts bro...if he plays the way he played Dallas in the 4th....Gmen roll up Skins. I don't see that happening.....besides Dallas, Gmen gonna get the most action this week imho. Just saying......

The one and only thing that the redskins have to play for are stat-based contract incentives...A team full of guys trying to get their own stats with a coach that has a 5 year deal signed...There will be selfish penalties in this game on washington

For what it's worth, skins could win out. Old coach won't let them quit. Colts, rams, tb, car, ....quitters. Miami actually playing hard. I like my chances with skins +pts vs. giants.

I know, but you said home field was huge and then immediately said the Giants should lose.  Even though they have home field advantage, so I guess it's not that huge.

Then you said Eli was due for a letdown against the G Men.

Better ratings or chasing for the NFL if giants win to compete with dallas since they won tonight.

While other division is a lock for others, there are still a couple left that people are watching and pacing..

I am taking giants and I don't give a shiet if eli manning says "you degenerate gambler" on TV.

I am sure some of you guys can remember teams seemingly losing on purpose to get a better draft pick, that is one reason the NBA went to a lottery system. What SGT BRODY is saying has happened before and will happen again.Not sure bout the Skins doing this but anything is possible.
