I have a 3 team parlay alive going into tonight with only Arizona +4 left. $100 to win 615. Should I hedge or let it ride? If so, how would you do it? There is an added bonus that I can get Rams -3 (-115) or Rams ml -168, as of the time I write this.
FWIW, I don’t pay my rent with betting but I do take it very seriously. Could I just let ride to enjoy the sweat? — sure! But I’m curious what “sharp” move would be here. Thanks Covers community for the input.

The "sharp" move would be to have not included the game on the parlay in the first place.
But since you did - and since you got a favorable line move - obviously holding the bet and not hedging in any way is the smart move.
The easiest way to think of it is this.... The second bet (hedge) is separate and has nothing to do with the first bet (the parlay). People like to combine them. If you bet the rams tonight, you are laying juice - just like you did in the parlay - so you are paying double juice for no reason.
I will say this for the millionth time here.... IF YOU ARE IN A POSITION TO HEDGE A PARLAY, YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE A FUNDAMENTAL MISTAKE. If you can understand that comment - the just start practicing it.

Bet rams with the spread for $220. Either the rams cover and you win $100 or cards win and you make $400 assuming thats what you mean by hedge. You want to cash in now NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!
Vanzack advice is better in the long term. You are better off letting it ride. But that means you either gonna LOSE $100 or WIN $600.

I'm of the mindset that football betting is so difficult that if you can guarantee a profit, you do it. With that being said, I usually cost myself money when I do.

I like guaranteed money. Used to let them ride, that being said I usually will hedge if a big payout under 200 I let it ride. I like to have my last leg be something favorable to be able to win both if I feel like hedging it.

I dont like the way my post above reads... Makes me sound like a condescending ass.
The point I was trying to make is....
Any hedge you make will be at a cost. Whether it is double juice, or the price of "cashing out" early by the book - you are paying extra. You dont have to pay this extra cost if you just leave off the last team of a parlay. The golden rule is if the starting times dont overlap - and you have no feeling about a line move - then dont put it in a parlay.
GL Scrappy. Hope you hit.
