So I have a 6 team parlay pending with the last leg being tonight on 49ers +2.5. It was $25 and possible payout is $983.
I was thinking of putting $200-$300 on Vikings ML which is 1.83 odds right now so this way I guarantee some profit and I have a chance to even win both bets. What do you guys think??

I would do the same, but I would do $150. If you bet too much on the Vikings, then that eats into your parlay winnings. There isn't a great chance the games ends on 1 or 2 point Vikes wib
Some people like to wait for in-game to hedge. If the 49ers get a 10-0 lead, you might get 4.0 on the Vikings ML and you only need to hedge with $50.
If you were holding the 49ers +3.5 as your last game, then the middle is a much better option and I would have more on the Vikes.

I did not think about the possibility of making an in-game bet if 49ers get a nice lead. Maybe I will make a small bet on Vikings ML and then wait and see about in-game. I still think the 49ers have a good shot at winning tonight, I just don't want to walk away with nothing.

It's not life-changing money. Ride it out and stick with the play you thought was right. You shouldn't hedge parlays unless it's a significant amount of money you need in terms of changing your life or bankroll. Otherwise, why did you make the bet in the first place? Just to hedge at the end to play it safe?

$25 investment to make $983 on a week one parlay is not life changing but worthy of a hedge for sure...i'de rather make a few hundo no matter what than be pissed that i didin't

Bet A is letting it ride on the last game, and bet B is hedging for 75 on a 25 to win 1000 parlay.
