Most of the interceptions were not his fault. The Chargers are a cursed franchise. Time and time again, bizarre events occur to undermine their season.

Herbert is obviously a good qb.  I will fault him for that interception in 1st half when he threw across his body.

That one is 100% on him. Horrible decision.

2nd and 3rd ones went through his receivers hands

A bad O-line has a ripple effect.

QB doesn't have time to throw.
Can't run the ball, which Jim likes to do.
You can't run the ball effectively, you increase the likeliness there's going to be a strong pass rush on every play.
When that happens, you hurry your passes.

Justin Herbert is better than his performance today, but he's going to have to silence the critics much like the QBs before him had to do (Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen... maybe you can throw in Jared Goff there.)

It would be in Herbert's best interest to give him a true #1 receiver. (Or a 1a, because McConkey is HIM. Just asking him to do more than his skill set is designed for.)
As well as shore up the IOL (Center and at least one starting Guard)
