Most people automatically assume that severely cold weather will benefit the "cold weather team." I'm not so sure in this case.
We all know the following about today's weather.
Nobody wants to play in this weather. Nobody is going to throw, run, catch, or block better in this weather.
If anything, this is most likely to be a form of equalizer at the QB position. Without the elements, Rodgers is substantially better than Kaepernick. That's not even up for debate.
I was thinking the Pack at home in this weather, getting points was a no brainer. I'm changing my mind now.
The QB play may not be as glaringly different due to the weather, coupled with SF's defense and the lack of GB defense, I'm going with SF and under.
Good luck to all my wagering friends!!

Appropriate your name is thaw cause these SOB's are gonna be freezing their fools off. I've pondered this game for days. I'm backing GB with the points at home, but I have a feeling like you that this is basically a QB challenge who's tougher, and who gets the job done. We know Rodgers can win the big game, he has a cannon, BUUUT his mobility is nil. And I am not convinced his collar bone is 100% healed. One good hit in this cold and he's on the pine. I'm thinking with Kaps ability to run and gun they should be the play. Almost talking myself out of the GB bet now. lol

Agree with the above rationale. Kap more mobile than Rodgers. In this weather that is a factor because both passing attacks will be affected. The ball will be as hard as a cinder block. I'm backing SF simply because they are the far better D today. GB might win but I'm not betting on that D to get me stops.
