Honest ? About TV time/Sportsbook Time

I’ve been betting for years on live (Bovada, FanDuel, etc.). I noticed that this Wild Card weekend that there is literally an abnormal amount of time from the real time compared to the TV time of the game, and then again to the betting lines. Why are all betting plays literally 2-3 plays ahead of the actual “live TV”? I’ve never saw anything even close to a real 30 second delay before in any sport outside of this years NFL playoffs. 

Not complaining because I’ve honestly just been benefiting from it big time but was just curious if anyone else has picked up on this?

Not 2-3 plays. More like 10-15 seconds imo at least on FanDuel

It's not just this weekend and it's not just the NFL.  I've noticed it in NBA, NCAAB, CFB, NHL and even in MLB at the end of the summer.

Yeah. I’m not saying I’m always taking advantage of it but wow it’s like I’m getting such a better line. Was just curious if anyone else has noticed this and seems as if a few have

Been noticing it for a while. You can tell what happens in the game before you see it actually happen based on the live lines

A lot depends on how youre watching the game too. I’ve noticed with these web based tv services like YouTube tv or sling the delay is worse
