Sorry they are distracted dealing with their own personal shit that focusing on a game wasn't highest on their priority (I mean if you are losing your house potentially who can blame them). I am certain if LA Rams win one of the dumb ass commentators will say like the mythical phoenix the Ram rose up from the asses and tasted victory.

One of you will be correct. I bet on the Chargers before the fires and after seeing how the fires have affected their preparation, routine etc. I am worried. But the opposite could be true as well. They could go out there and win one for the city, which is what I’ll be hoping for. I’m almost certain a coach like Harbaugh will use the occasion to galvanize the team. Whether or not it works is another question.

I'm not betting the Love Story on this one. If I'm the Rams, I'm more worried about my home turning into a toxic waste dump with contaminated air and ground water. Chargers a little further South in El Segundo. I think this is more similar to when Andy Reids son killed the kid the night before the Superbowl, they weren't focused and lost 31-9.

I know some were laughing at the fire motivation but been doing this long time and MAYBE there could be little more energy and in gambling we need all the tips and thoughts we can hear

Yep but much different then losing a family member as far as a motivational side.
I remember being in my twenties and religiously going to the gym as most kids do at that age and the morning of my grandfather passed to get my mind off of my grandfather whom we lived with and loved very much I proceeded to go to the health club and in my mind I dedicated the work out to him and that day turned out to be and was probably the most animalistic, freak of nature out of character and unheard of workout to this day that I have ever had.
Brett favre played with the same emotions back in December 22nd 2003 when his father died of a sudden heart attack and went out to cream the day after his dad's death the raiders 41-7 whom he himself said after the game that he had dedicated that game to his dad.
He knew that his dad would of wanted him to go out and play and not ponder and be in sorrow about his untimely death and to be absent for his team so he went played and crushed it.
I think as far as the fire devastation done in LA goes it's a totally different kind of mindset. It's not a motivational mindset. It's a depressing and sad kind of circumstances and would more than not affect a negative peak performance from the rams and not so much a positive one.
Although it was fitting that a team named the Patriots won after 9/11 the Superbowl it would only be fitting for the rams to uplift their own city after this week's devastation.
Good luck to all this weekend and may God bless all of California and it's citizens that have lost it all.

Yeah, good idea. As soon as they stop postponing games. JJ Redick lost his home due to the fires so if not for the ppl of LA, at the very least play hard and win for your coach? Assuming they like him.
