Houston -3 @ Oakland

Question

Is this an over reaction to sunday? Oakland is still a 4-12 at best Houston is still 10-6 team imo.....if this game was last week the line would have been 6 or 7.....thoughts?

oakland or no play, oakland fared well against name brand teams last season, they seem to get up for those games... i wouldn't be surprised to see them win, but i just can't back either side here, but my lean is oakland and the line says so.

Got oak at &#x2B;4.  Texans seem to struggle in Oakland.  2 years ago they had a must-win here and they lost straight up to to the JaMarcuss lead raiders.

I was at the Cardinal vs. Raider game. That was a heartbreaking loss for the Raiders. They played hard and got beat by their own kicker. Can they shake that off and get up for the Texans. Houston coming off a loss should be motivated and Oakland may will still have their heads up their own asses after last week. Furthermore, I can live with losing on Houston, an up and coming team rather than on a team that&#x27;s likely to win 4 or 5 games like they have the last 7 years....

Houston ran in to a buzzsaw 0-2 Cowboys last week but I still think the real Houston team is the team we've seen in Weeks 1-2.....Good thing their awful pass D won't matter because they get to face the Raiders.

OAK hangover from tough game coming back to get in it and losing cause of Janifatass.

Houston crushes on the road imo, 31-14.

That is the key question here. After they missed that kick last week there were guys laying on the field in agony. They should have won that game 3 times but still ended up with a loss in typical Raider fashion. How do they shake that loss? Houston shouldn&#x27;t be laying road wood to anyone with that pathetic defense. Looks like a stay away unless anyone knows where Oakland&#x27;s head is at.

&#xD;&#xA;This sounds alot like the 49ers and Saints monday night game. But, we know know how that story turned out against KC.&#xD;&#xA;I say Houston wins this one. They may not be Super Bowl bound but they are a better team than the Raiders. Good teams can play consistent. The Raiders are not one of those teams. Play good one day, play like crap the next. &#xD;&#xA;However, I have been known to eat my words from time to time.

This game is the classic Vegas Trap. 80% of the action on Houston and the line hasnt moved. Houstons defense sucks and they are 1-4 in this history of their franchise favored on the road. Houstons LT was also out last week and might be again. Oakland gets up for games like this last year beating Philly, at Pitt, and Cinci. They also gave SD a hell of a run at home and Baltimore.

Oakland gets up for these types of games and their defense has been solid last two weeks. I see a close game here and a definite no play.

oaklands offense is playing a lot better with a more effective gradkowski at the helm. they will score on houstons defense. their special teams isnt so special. oaklands defense been playing very inspired ball. i think it comes down to can oaklands defense contain arian foster?

This is coming from a Raider Fan, I do not see the raiders coming even close to the spread.  Houston beat the Colts for crying out lound and the Raiders bearly beat the much better than last year Rams by 2 points.  Raiders do seem to pick and choose when to play well but this is a gamble worth trying for. GL everyone.
