The result vs the Pats is somewhat misleading; the Jets didn't take them seriously enough to get the job done. As decrepit as Rodgers is, I think he's too veteran savvy to let that loss eat at him over a full week, so a short week here is a good thing... And the fact that the New York media didn't even care this past week about a local team not named the Yankees suggests that the ridicule was kept to minimum once the Monday talk shows went off air.
Adams was brought in to fill a void and I see him coming to life tonight. That and Hall should have a big game on the ground.
I see this this as a case of buying low and I see definite value here going against the grain. Houston has struggled in the redzone the last couple of weeks, kicking chip shot field goals will rear its ugly head tonight. Not having Diggs or Collins is a difference maker.
