How do you make that call

Refs called a good game and waited for 3rd and 8 at the end of the game to throw a ticky tacky holding call.

Let Kansas City kick the field goal and see the Eagles play out the last 1:40. This could have been an all time game, but ended as a dud.

I totally agree. In that situation, you don't make that call unless it's obvious. And it wasn't obvious. To make things worse. I think the ball was uncatchable. Mahomes actually threw it early because of the pass rush and it sailed. But how can they make that call in that situation? That's my point!

How does Mahomes on a "bad" ankle run for almost 30 yards against this "great" defense? Never sacked him the entire game. Yeah...

I had KC tonight so will take it, but complete bail out on a dead play. Like it’s a bit of a hold, but that play was going nowhere and the ball not catchable anyway. Tough way to end it, very good game overall.

It doesn’t need to be catchable for a holding call. A hold is a hold. It wasn’t a PI call. Know the rules 

Bottom line is 10 pts isn't enough of a lead vs Mahomes in a playoff game.

The Chiefs got that defensive TD and that punt return 2 huge plays that really were the difference. That call was still unbelievable. Eagles should have at least got a chance. Terrible way to end a super bowl.

 You have to read the situation. It’s a huge call to decide the game, it better be an obvious call. They kept the flags in their pockets all night until then. Doesn’t make any sense.

It’s the Super Bowl you arse! The biggest game of the year. What everything comes down to. You can’t make mistakes when it’s this important. Who cares about a regular season game, there’s 17 of them for each team. There’s only one championship game to decide the best in the nation.

Eagles backer just want 2put it all on 1 play. Even, if Eagles got the ball back after a fg. The way Chiefs defense was playing 2half. A strong argument could be had that the score result stay the same at 38-35. It is what it is. Take theL for not believing experience QB and coaches matter in big games.

How is it not obvious when the offender admitted he did hold/grab and said "he hoped that they wouldn't call the penalty". Even Myhomie saw and pointed to the hold during and after the play. Do know what else 2say hahaha smh

Just bc he said he held him does not make it right! it's obvious it's a no called played, especially when the ball is a thrown away-non-catchable!! Refs works for Vegas. Sports betting is a billion dollar business that should never be legalized!

I finally looked at this play lol, guy was beat and grabbed twice really, if not held at all it could have possibly been a td. nothing to see here. I remember a play earlier in game talked about in game thread where two different eagles defenders held on same play no call and no eagles fans pointing that out.
