How good is Nick Chubb?

He is the only RB to average 5.0+ YPRA on at least 100 rushes in NFL history.  This huge loss further cripples CLV's OFF which was already hampered by the loss of RT Jack Conklin, out for the season.  Fourth rounder Dawand Jones was not up to the task of stopping T.J. Watt as PIT racked up 6 sacks vs. CLV's allegedly powerful OFF line.

Two tiny silver linings for CLV:

1) CLV still racked up 408 yards in total OFF, pretty impressive facing a stout DEF and missing Chubb for most of the game.

2) Without Chubb, Stefanski might switch to a spread OFF which Watson engineered successfully at Clemson.  Of course Watson may be beyond hope as bad as he has looked in his 8 games with CLV.

 youre right     huge loss  bcuz now the run isnt as an effective weapon

watson does prefer the spread style and leaving the pocket  so maybe  he takes off with it more   which might b a good thing

Jamaal Charles averaged 5.4 YPRA on 1407 attempts in his career with the Chiefs.  He had over 6 YPC until his 2nd torn ACL slowed him down a bit.  One of the best RBs of all time in his prime!  Sayers and Sanders both had 5.0 averages with over 100 carries.

I'm from KC.  Been a Chiefs fan since 1969. 

I screwed up on my initial post.  It should include "for his first five years." Nobody else ever accomplished that.

Watch the Browns a lot - He's VERY good.

When other backs come in, even adjusting for situations (running clock in 4th - they obviously have lower average) they don't run the ball like him. 

Chubb's strength + patience are incredible, but it's his vision what separates him.

Hunt will need a week but he will be ready for the Ravens

Chubb = FANTASTIC. Watson = Ray Rice. Browns are toast. Fade fade fade!

Sad to say it, but I won't pull my punches - I am afraid that Nick Chubb might be finished.  His attempt at a comeback after yet another leg injury looks like a complete failure.  In his 3 three games this season: 42 rushing attempts, 113 rushing yards, 2.69 YPRA.

I am glad I am just a Browns fan and not a fanatic or season ticket holder.
