Why don’t they ever take the points.
This is the absolute worst coaching I ever seen. You have failed your team miserably and the players that balled out for you the entire game. How do you leave points on the board twice!!! Poor burrow and Jamar chase.

Burrow threw deep on on 3rd and 4, 4th and 4 and again on a 4th and 2. Those plays didn’t come from the sidelines. I’m not at all a Zac Taylor fan it’s a problem when your team starts slow 5 years in a row. Do something different! Frustrating to watch.

@Puerta2Puerta
I am surprised in these scenarios that the qb doesn’t ever try to overrule the coach. Why not call a timeout and talk to the coach saying we really need the points here, maybe best not to gamble. It must be in the mindset of an athlete to always stay aggressive and want the ball in his hands. Bottom line is that they didn’t kick, didn’t convert, and lost by one point

FWIW, the local media, and fans have been howling all season about ZT's conservative play calling, and it's a real thing. I pretty much doubt his calls were a reaction, but ya never know...I do know his conservative play calling was not working though.

@Knollywood100
I get it 100%! but when you need 2-5 yards, and you have literally 2 mismatches in Chase and Gesicki, give them a shot. BTW, 2 of the deep balls went to Burton, he might not have caught them if they landed in his lap!

Similar situation in the Chiefs and Bucs game Last week ....road team rallies to score a late TD one coach takes the xpa and takes his chances into overtime with momentum the other shits the bed trying to go for two.....common sense or analytics flip a coin good think I took the points in both cases

@Puerta2Puerta
I think you hit the nail on the head Fouble Door!
People constantly thinking the fix is in…
When it’s just human stupidity. Or lack of ability to handle the moment. Whether it’s coaches, managers, or officials.
A PERFECT example:
the MLb umpire that blew what was a perfect game by calling a player safe at first.
There was no fn fix. No ill intent. Just human frailty.??
