Niners might get the shit kicked out of them honestly. I’m as bearish on the Niners this season as I’ve ever been. That team will be lucky to win 7 games, 8 max.

So the 49ers are no longer the class of the NFC?

Your expecting a 40 year old QB coming off a major injury who hasn't played competitive football in well over a year to come in and kick some ass? Please give some reasoning.

I'm leaning San Fran. The line keeps dropping, and that seems like a lot of faith being put on a 40 year old QB coming off an Achilles injury. But BOL on your play!

Resenting a team is not a solid foundation for choosing a side.

Agree wholeheartedly. I already bet it.
I had 49ers to win SB last year and had massive futures on them, followed the cream closely all year. The team is NOTHING without Trent Williams. Their line is suspect already. Colt McKivitz is a liability at tackle, Aaron Banks has a nagging foot injury, and Spencer Buford missed a key block on the last play of the SB where he slid the protection the wrong way and let Chris Jones get a free rush on Purdy on a play where BA was wide open in the end zone.
Now, this line is expected to block Quinnen Williams, Javon Kinlaw, and Jermain Johnson?
Obviously the jets are old and everything goes out the window when guys get injured, but this is a VERY talented team on both sides of the ball. HOF QB. The last time that Rodgers had a top 5 defense he won the SB.

@C-70Blues
Just come back to my threads in Nov/December when the Jets make the playoffs and are a SB contender...I need people like you to get the Jets at 22/1 odds.

Yea, my first bet of the year. NYJ +4.
This is mainly assuming Trent Williams doesn't play. He's the most important part of their offense.
I'm no Niners hater. They'll be fine as long as Williams comes back, but this is a tough first test for their OL.

At this point the Jets best QB is a back up in Denver, yes he was all happy in Denver's win over Ari. against players that most will be gone, but Wilson did play well. I have to see Rogers start first and only playing first game last year, his age also. can not see him being able to walk on field and be anything close to before latest injury.
Would be 49ers for me as Jets have more doubts than SF starting off.

22-1 is too low.

Aaron Rodgers today is not Aaron Rodgers 5 years ago. And Aaron is historically bad vs S. Fran. Keep in mind this is a new team for Aaron.
S. Fran has continuity from coaches, players, scheme... etc.
