&#xD;&#xA;are you talking about the catch-turned-fumble by the Skins receiver?&#xD;&#xA;the ball was on its way out before he was down by contact. that&#x27;s according to the refs, which is more important than any of our opinions. i actually agree with the ref here though.

The review was not for the SPOT of the ball its weather the guy fumbled the ball before he was DOWN. The rule on the field was DOWN BY CONTACT hence the Redskins player never even tried to recover the ball. I dont care what any rule says or what anyone says that was not fair to the Redskins.....&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I did not have Redskins ML either just calling it like I see it I hate when I see a shady play just to bring in bucks for the NFL by keeping a 12-0 team alive.

The ref was right next to him when he was ruled down. That was it. The Saints player also didn't even run with the ball, so there is no way they can review whether or not it was a fumble. The rules say you can't review a play that was ruled down by contact.

Whether he was down or not is a moot point right now.  The play was ruled down by contact.  End of play.

This game was shady from the start.  100% controlled by both players and referees for a predetermined outcome.  23 yard missed field goal?  Watch the replay for that, the kicker was aiming at the right post, he was 100% trying to miss the kick.  And that fumble in OT, they really need to make a clear rule when it comes to ruled down by contact, then review for fumble, and turnover...they seem to just make it up as they go along. Shady league.   I love the NFL alot, and especially the Buffalo Bills, but i cannot put my heart into something that I believe to be crocked and shady, and this game was both.  Same with last week&#x27;s game NO NE, and CHI MIN.  what a joke
