I have always thought that to be an argument not well thought out  The reason I say this wouldn't the posters or punters allegedly being influenced need to be getting down at a book sponsored by Cover's?   If not why would they care what their wagers were?

The sports books employ a lot of people and probably have their risk management team open up accounts  and guide the sheep to the slaughterhouse. Wouldn’t you? If we are asking that question it is for a reason. Just like the percentages that they show are not real. That is protected information. They spend  a lot of money figuring out who is sharp and will limit you if they know you are a smart bettor and not just here for the entertainment.

The books don't care who wins.  This is a business of balancing the juice and the spread and collecting what's left in the middle.   They could care less and will make money either way.

If you guys think the 'books' give a squirt of piss about what a few dozen morons on Covers do on any given game day, you are stupider than shit. With legalized gambling, there is an army of literally millions of shitbirds lining up to bet Mom's social security check through their app - the 'books' could give a shit who is on Covers or what covers does. It literally wouldnt be worth their time to pay a single person to run influence operations on Covers.

To believe otherwise, you would have to be the same type of moron that believes 9/11 was fake or that the moon landing was staged...
