Then he tested it and when he got brought down on the first drive he knew he was done...
Why was he returning kicks?
9er fans should be asking questions

I agree. He's too valuable of a player to be returning kicks. He's Purdy's safety valve with the quick screens, and without him, he's looking more like Mr. Irrelevant than an NFL starting QB.

for such a big strong guy who is hard to bring down he does seem to get hurt all the time. Definitely should not be on the return team.
Was it a punt return or kick return? I wouldn't even bother returning kickoffs in the playoffs especially. Just take it at the 25. Guys almost never make it past there running it out let alone all the way.

It's his shoulder not a concussion.

Regardless, Deebo is far too valuable to the 49er's offense to be used running back kickoff returns. This is something the 49er'a need to fix moving forward. The 49er's were fortunate to win in Deebo's absence.

Ok... and that happened on his first catch, when he got a helmet to helmet hit. Didn't happen because he lost his shoe.

Kyle does it when he thinks the team needs a "spark". There was maybe one time this has worked out and Deebo got it to maybe the 30-35. I never understood risking Deebo on kickoffs and punt returns.
