I have never seen that call made from upstairs neither after a first down is awarded. So now upstairs can make a call and override the refs on the field ? That was bizarre and does make you wonder if the NFL is following some kind of script. Don’t think Jets would have won anyway .. but that call seemed real shady !

Think the NFL must warn the announcers to never question a call on the field. That was crazy though they acted like that was normal for that call to have been made from upstairs . Is there a new rule that upstairs can review a call at anytime in the game ? Would have thought the announcers would have explained if that was a new rule. Getting harder to deny it’s the National Fixed League. Lol

Yes is a new rule and is meant to speed up the game and supposed to be used on plays where they see a ref clearly missed a call. IMO makes the game better and more fair.
Banned for using a burning $ emoji. Lol. TRUMP 2024!!!

Yeah, I don’t have a problem with this. It’s better for the game and for fans.
Similar system used in Soccer for years now for offsides. It takes the subjectiveness out of calls and relies on technology to give us a non-biased outcome.
I wish they would implement something like this for MLB for strikes/balls.

I believe they call it expedited review. The problem is on the previous down, it appeared they got the first down or at least the jets thought they were on first down, but instead it became 2nd and 1, then the play that was expedited review out of bounds which was correct, but that completely changed the dynamics so now after all that it's 3rd and 1, and then of course the jets found a way to fuck up both plays and turnover on downs thanks for coming

Great. It will be like var in soccer. Don't even bother celebrating a score until upstairs looks at every angle. If you clowns think this is giod for the game then...
Just another way to manipulate the outcome.

Not sure how this speeds up the game and also why even have the challenge flag I thought that was the whole point. I know this is a system they use in NCAAF bc for the longest time they didn't have challenge flags and makes the extremely longer. Anyway for the officials to control the outcome of the game I guess

So the MLB could have undeniable consistent evidence has to why the umpire is completely useless for the game? They would never ever implement this

25 years watching nfl if a ref missed a call it suppose to go upstairs and upstairs buzz down n tell the coach to challenge the play.. now the refs have the right to review everyplay thats wrong or undermine every call !!
2 thing that crazy is the end of the game rb jordan Mason said he knew he was gonna play since Friday but they made it seem like cmc was gonna play the whole time is crazy.. nfl is getting weirder now since sports became legal for betters..
