Years ago, I predicted wins by the Broncos over both NE and CAR....both times as 3 point dogs....and I took the ML in both.
That was when Peyton was called "noodle arm" by the majority of Covers...and many others elsewhere.
I was laughed at, in Covers, as I recall. I said Peyton took a dive vs SEA in his 1st DEN SB...so he could be gifted a SB as a retirement gift. I predicted he would win and retire. So it went. No way the NFL would let Eli retire with more SBs than Peyton. Just no way....
My point is...I am now predicting the very same outcome for Drew Brees. The Saints have taken a dive in multiple playoff games in recent years...and the time has come to cash in on their having taken several for the shield....Just as Peyton was held out with an injury for a chunk of that SB season...only to be brought back "fresh" for the playoffs...so has Brees....
He will go to the SB and play against the Chiefs. No way the NFL will even allow anyone to de-legitimize his 2nd ring by having him win against a pubescent QB like Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield. No way. YES, Mahomes is a kid...but leagues ahead of these others QBs, and already a made man....
Brees outduels Mahomes in the SB...wins his 2nd gifted ring (1st one he got due to Hurricane Katrina) and he promptly retires.....Please spare me the "tinfoil" retorts. As this late stage of the world...anyone who still fails to see all major sports are rigged to varying degrees....should not be betting or operating heavy machinery. This is a business. Theater. Shakespeare in cleats. Get over your feelings on this, and focus on making money. You can be a fanboy or a successful bettor. Not both.
YOUR SB: SAINTS vs CHIEFS
PREDICTION FOR TODAY: SAINTS ML / KC ML
Did not look too much into O/U...but I am an overs guy...so i like both....take that part with a grain of salt...

@slapshot101
Story ending looks tellling but the Saints have to go to Green Bay and take out AR and company and that my friend will be a little difficult. But who knows any given Sunday, right?

I came to the same conclussion as you did on Peyton vs Cam and cashed in, I do not believe it's the same story with Brees, not as marketable as Peyton and not the same love from uppermanagement, instead Brady's redemption would get far more dollars and publicity future stories for NE on the what if?, BB legacy and the whole country will be watching this time.
