Hey fellas, hope everyone is doing well. Just worked the overnight shift, now at the airport headed to Vegas. I wish I had more time for a more meaningful write up but I’ll be racing to an MGM property got a futures bet in and enjoy the games.
My card so far
Lions +3 (-110) - 3 units
Chargers + 6 (-110) -3 units
Eagles -2.5 (-110) - 3 units
6 point-teaser: Seahawks -1.5/Bills -2.5 - 5 units
6 point-teaser: Seahawks -1.5/Chargers +11.5 - 5 units
I HATE backing the public dog. Absolutely hate it. Public dogs usually die. But I am just not sold on the Ravens. Back from Europe and they’re getting healthy but who have they beaten? They beat CJ stroud in his first game. They lost to the Colts. They beat up on the Titans. Now, they face off against a hungry Lions team. I see value in the line at 3. I like the kid Gibbs and love the Lions O-line. Should be an excellent game.
Chargers +6 - this is my game of the week. You guys know I am big on the Chargers this year. 7 dimes at 25/1 and so disappointed in how things transpired last week against Dallas. These guys keep underperforming and losing these CLOSE games. Now, they can go down 2-4 with a loss in arrowhead and people will really be calling for Staley’s head. But I actually love how aggressive he is. Defense has played better, holding Dallas to 20 points. At the beginning of the year the defense struggled, now the offense is struggling. I think Herbert will come out focused. The Chargers have yet to lose a game by more than 3 points this year. I have the game graded at Chiefs -3.5 so I like the extra points of value.

They’ve been hungry. All season. Have you seen who their coach is. Dan Campbell is a motivator and this team truly believes it can beat everyone. Just watch one of his post game speeches. He’s going to keep biting knee caps off. Jared Goff has the best ATS record I believe.

Do you like the chiefs this week? Mahomes is notoriously bad as a favorite. I agree that Chargers are coming off a tough loss and Chiefs are tough in arrowhead but I like the Chargers getting points.

Why is this game a letdown spot for the Lions?? I view it as the opposite. 30 years of futility and they finally have a chance to prove they are the cream of the NFC with a big win against a legitimate playoff contender on the road. Dan Campbell is a great motivator. Also, early but it's looking like Lions have a legitimate chance at earning the #1 seed and home field advantage in the NFC with a soft scehdule. Winning this game and keeping pace with Eagles/49ers in the W/L column is big.
I don't see this being a letdown spot at all. Lions will be very up for this game with something to prove.

Oh, you're under the impression that hunger is infinitely sustainable. Got it. I think those kids are smelling their own farts after last week and what they've done so far this season. We'll see. Good luck
Good one! I can barely motivate myself to get up in the morning these days.
