you have to rule one of two things on the lay prior to the alleged fumble. Either he caught the ball for a TD. Or he went out of bounds on his own and there should have been 29 or so seconds on the clock. Big difference in how things would have played out.

This head official is absolutely horrible. Every time I watch a game of his, I just shake my head and have screamed at the TV (multiple times) "How does this guy have this job!"

Earlier, Tavon had returned a punt for a TD but was whistled out of bounds by a blind as a bat official. Now, it would have come back anyway due to offsetting penalties. but the guy that made the bogus call didn't know that.

In the first half, I can't even remember how the Rams got hosed lol, but I know they did and the officials were smug in their look on the field. They don't care. They just love blowing calls all over the place.

[/Quote]I think you are referring to the Frank Gore fumble in the first half where the refs called forward progress had stopped. Rams got ROBBED of a turnover. I mean this guy and his crew are an absolute joke and it is mind-blowing that they have a place in "The League"

yes that was it. They never blew a whistle and did not rule forward progress until after the fumble, which clearly was a fumble, as even Mike Periera said in his examination ot the call. They blew that bigtime. Cost the Rams huge.
