The only thing that bothers me about doing anything large with the Jaguars is think the numbers are skewed. AFC South QBs, the mess in Houston other than Watson weeks, whatever Indy was doing, and Mariotta. These guys all suck.
Then they played AFC Central which has crap QBs except for Big Ben. Blaine Gabbert, Garrapolo, Wilson, etc. all lit them up. So worry the numbers are skewed as very few games against actual NFL QBs. I'm taking them to cover as think both O-Line and D 7 are physical enough to keep it close but, not going large as do think their success is largely skewed.

Playing in the AFC East is hardly a challenging environment for NE. Geno Smith, Josh McCown, Tyrod Taylor and Jay Cutler are not exactly fantasy football favorites. That might result in NE's DEF also being overrated.

^96 of those yards, and 3 td's were on 4th downs. Not taking away anything from Big Ben, those were big time throws in high leverage situations. Also, AB and LB made tremendous catches with guys drapped all over them.
My take away...you gotta believe that it's highly unlikely that the Pats will find themselves trailing in this game from start to finish. You gotta think that they won't be down by 14 or 21 points at any point but maybe...who knows.
Will the Pats panick if so? No chance.
How many 4th down conversions will Bill attempt? He plays ball by the book, he's easily the best situational coach in the NFL. He'll punt or kick a fg 97% of the time.
I've never seen the Patriots leave points on the field. If they are in range, on 4th down they'll take 3. If it's 4th n short, that's another story. Brady actually runs a great QB sneak.
The Jags did their job on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down vs Pitt, and they did it well.
If it's a close game, Belichick won't play Madden Ball. He knows the importance of field position a hell of a lot more than Tomlin.

@sac I was also gonna mention about that game how bad that defense was on 4th downs. That was just one of those games where every play was a 4th down play and every drive had to have a score. And the jags defense looked absolutely normal and average to me. They made some great plays that changed momentum in the game, but they were also being pushed around all the way up and down the field. Big Ben at one point didn’t miss a pass on 10+ attempts. This is the phase of the game that Brady can exploit, it’s possible for him to come away with a 100+ rtg at the end, and win. It probably won’t be 400yds but I think he’s gonna be effective.

Brady and McDaniels are the epitome of "efficient"
Past history has shown that the only way to get Brady off of his game is pressure up the middle.

This freak will be emasculated some way, some how.

Pitt simply has better skill players than NE and more of a vertical passing scheme. NE will not duplicate those plays because it’s just not in their DNA. Patsies will dink and dunk at a high percentage as they always do. Looking forward to this game and will be rooting hard for Jags whom I believe have a legit shot to keep it close.
