Just dont get the Terrell Owens singing

Id rather have Andre Caldwell than Terrell Owens.

You got Chad, Antonio Bryant, and you add Terrell Owens. I just think the bengals are asking for it. Much as I like Ocho I can see that team getting out of control with those two. Not to mention you drafted Jordan SHipley, and reports have it that Jerome Simpson is finally learning how to run routes, hes another early draft pick from 2008.

Anyways out of the 3 young guys Andre Caldwell is great in my opinion, maybe im just jealous they got all t hese WRs and my brownies didnt really do dick. lol. But damn I mean isnt that kinda crazy to have all that and go and get Terrell?

No he is not great by any means.  Look I remember back when we were courting both Owens and Bryant.  I remember saying once we signed Bryant that I could honestly still see us signing Owens.  I think that it is a great signing honestly.  Couple of reasons, obviously Carson and TO had some kind of connection when throwing to each other.  Carson wouldn't go out and recruit Owens if he didn't feel he had a lot left in the tank.  Plus there are some injury concerns with Bryant right now.  I like the mixture.  I honestly suspect we keep 7 receivers.   I think they packages they will mix in will although all of the receivers to stay fresh and get solid playing time.  Look if you line up Ocho, TO and Bryant.  Then say Chad makes a big play down the field.  Run him off you know then throw in some one else and move Bryant and TO to the outside and have someone on the inside.  I mean this could be a deadly combination of receivers.  I'm most interested in watching Matt Jones and Jerome Simpson play tomorrow at that position.  Like you said they have said Simpson is making strides.  He's playing for his future he was a 2nd round pick.  Which at the time I didn't get.  I still don't but if he's making strides maybe he looked in the mirror and said shit I better get going.  Maybe the signings were good for him.  Caldwell to me is hit or miss he pisses me off.  I think he could be a solid 2 or 3 on most teams.  He will catch some balls this season.  I think our final roster of receivers will consist of.  Ocho, TO, Bryant, Jones, Caldwell, Simpson, and Shipley with Briscoe on the practice squad.  I like the signing.  Thought it might be a final piece to a puzzle.  I really think we are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.  If the offense just picks up an average of 1 or 2 more first downs a possession the defense is going to be even more fresh and should be outstanding.  Sorry for the long post.

I'm sitting here watching right now, it appears to me that they will pull out the victory.  Honestly, when I thought about betting this game today I would have stayed away.  If you ever want an opinion on the Reds I'm right just about 90% of the time.  It would have been Cubs or nothing today based on the way Volquez has been but I believe the Reds pull out a victory for you today.
