Come on. Carolina is gonna kill them right??? Denver might as well not even show up according to Panther fans.  Lets get this all the way up to +6 or +7

It would be a dream to take the #1 Defense getting a full TD .

I agree

I think the recent Panther blowouts have blinded a lot of people to what Cam will be up against this time.  He obliterated the Seahawks but Seahawks weren't the defense they were touted to be.

Books are still really exposed here though

Then too much as # 1 defense,  eh ?  more money will pour in on DEN ... because Manning "need" another ring before he's retiring !!!

Better team WIN . period  - 

BTW - Don't we love to watch - Rambo, Rocky, 24, ...underdogs  ? to win  ...as a happy ending .

I already think its a totally stale line at 6...Broncos could be down 13 with 3 minutes left against the prevent defense and waltz down the field to push. Doesn't even need to be a particularly close game...In regards to the true probability of the outcomes here, laying 6 with Carolina isn't a good bet in my opinion. Its a championship game, and they are only concerned with winning, winning by 3 winning by 7, doesn't matter to them, they just want to be having photo shoots on the field as the clock expires. Not all that different to the college championship game, which to me seemed pretty one sided for alabama and they couldnt cover...

Article on CBS sports saying books have pushed it up to 6.

What's interesting, and makes me call BS, is in the article it claims the line opened at 5.5 and initially a ton of Denver money came in pushing the line down to 4 before the rush of Car $$ came in to push it up to 6.

Somebody is lying...

Yep, style points and margin of victory are useless.  Win by 1 or win by 50 coaches could care less they just want the W.

If it gets to +6 on Pinnacle I'd be happy. Hoping to catch +7 but I'd be surprised if the books actually push up to that key number. Either way I'm a big fan of +6 with a #1 defense on a neutral field.

It doesn't surprise me that CBS Sports got gambling info wrong, I wouldn't read too much into it.

I would be surprised if it moved to 7 though, you KNOW Denver will get hammered there, but we shall see.

How about Arizonans defense the next week? They killed 2- top 5 defenses let's not forget that. Not saying they will kill the Broncos but I feel a 7 point victory BOL

It's at +6 (-105) for Bovada. Do you guys think it'll hit 7 by next week? Afraid it might be drop as the big players usually wait till day before game to place their bet. Who knows where they are going with their money.

You mean the #1 defense who played a WHOOPING 3 teams with a top 13 offense?  And a #1 defense that allowed a WHOOPING 8 points less than Car who faced 9 games against top 13 offenses?  


Its much easier to have the #1 D, when 80% of your games are against offense that dont even rank in the top half of the league
