Anybody else think this was super lame? Jalen Hurts, the obvious MVP, wins his first Super Bowl against one of the greatest teams in the history of the league…and doesn’t take the last snap with his team?!
Pickett looked silly taking the knee and none of his teammates congratulated him.

It was lame for the Eagles to go for it on 4th and 6 at midfield with two minutes to go in the hopes that a successful conversion could allow them to take a knee. It was super duper lame to send Pickett out there to attempt that 4th and 6, and of course he couldn’t get it done. That brought Mahomes back onto the field at the 50 rather than Carson Wentz, who very likely would have been sent out there to do a few handoffs had the Eagles punted. Then Mahomes wound up and threw it as far as he could, and wouldn’t you know it, he didn’t miss.
And THEN the Eagles took a knee.
And that is the story of how a 10-point Eagles second half lead with under three minutes to go ended in the ghastly death of Eagles second half moneyline bets.

Yeah there was some bad beats at the end of the game. A largely bet prop of Mahomes ov 23.5 completions would have had a chance, ov 5.5 rush attempts, and Kelce ov 5.5 receptions. Those could have all had a shot if Mahomes doesn’t throw another bomb to worthy. But it’s what they had to do and it was a great pass. Sorry you lost that 2nd half ml

I know a ton of people had to get burned on live bets with those garbage time TDs. I'll bet a lot of KC bettors tried to get money back taking the Eagles with -20ish lines and lost both bets.
That's why I rarely live bet or halftime bet, and if I do, it's always on a team that is down a ton of points because the other team usually takes the foot off the gas even in the SB.
