Patriots win another Super Bowl ? 


Versus Green Bay or Seattle or Giants ?

You need to have an Offensive Line to get to the Super Bowl. 

What part of the Giants getting destroyed by the Packers last year made you think that they had a chance?

Great Defense, shaky QB, awful O Line.

As long as the Chargers have a girl as their QB, they will not be going anywhere except to get a pedicure.

I disagree. Philip rivers is an elite veteran who could get it done if the team around him was better. He always ends up in shorty situations. Not gonna say he hasn't choked before, but he is definitely a game manager and if he has some more "healthy" talent I believe they could make some noise. I bet them again
Not to mention rivers has made me a boatload of cash in the age west games lol.

Maybe not exactly "elite" since he hasn't won anything, but def at the top of the chart of the non winners... Stafford is another guy waiting for a break out...

Chargers have potential to have most improved line in the league. They do have two good starters in slauson and barksdale. Signed Russell okung to play LT and drafted two really good guards in 2nd/3rd round.

Just wish they added a player on defense instead of drafting a wide receiver they didn't need but they definitely have a legitamate chance to contend

i would say rivers is elite.  or as close as it gets.  but he's taken a beaing the last couple of years and it showed in his arm strength last season.  i'm not sure he has much left.  i wouldn't be surprised if he's done in a year or two.  charges could win a super bowl with rivers still but not without a lot of help and i'm not sure they'll have it.

they have been possibly the most injured team the last couple of years so they could be very good quickly but they'll need rivers to hold up and they need a better OL.

@playtwn, I wrote about the Giants, he mentioned them as possible NFC contenders. No offensive line and they did nothing to fix it.

Figures i had Charger lst season ..we all know how that turned out...too many injuries as usual...seems like the OL is always got injuries to key personnel...this season i'm going to take BEASTMODE and the Raiders to win division like many others here...

used to hate rivers and for good reason. he's good. and he gets ripped off. the face is easy to hate but man he gets the job done

Chargers to win West is interesting.. I played a different angle and the over win season total for 2017-2018,  for  the simple fact they lost a lot of games late.  I like the venue change for this franchise this year, and see the Home Depot Center in LA as a positive influence.  This is a small venue, and I think this is a benefit IMO.

We shall see........

They will absolutely not win that division. Only 1 team that has relocated in the off-season has ever made the playoffs at all. And the Chargers don't even have a stadium, the one they will play in has like 20-30 thousand less seats than the current smallest capacity stadium. Lala land they don't even care about football so with less seats and less noise the home field won't be much of an advantage. Also they have a new head coach who has never been a head coach, very few rookie HCs win the division in their first year. They haven't been able to stay healthy and last year they blew so many games late it was comical.

And while they do have talent, they're still the least talented overall in the AFC West. I think KC wins it, they finally have figured Denver out, Oakland overachieved and is likely to regress, and they are the most complete and consistent team in the division and the RB they drafted is really good, and their run game surprisingly didn't fall off too much when Charles went down.

Why won't the Broncos win it with their D? Their O-line got much better too. Run game sets up passing game even for a mediocre QB

Chargers had some bad breaks LY so I agree that they will challenge Den/Oak/KC. Chargers had 9 losses by less than 10
