Really digested your words. I both agree and disagree.
However, my point of reflection from what you said is what it's done to the broadcast of games. Whether mandated or organic, the desire / need to make every play seem as if it is 4 and goal to win the superbowl is ruining my experience.
Pondering whether this is to engage bettors to bet.

If you're referring to the Vikings Rams game last night, at first glance you would think Vikings. But there were a number of factors in favor of the Rams such as the situational spot (Vikings playing tough Lions team the week before and facing a "Lions hangover" and going on the road on a short week), the Rams getting healthier with getting Kupp and Nacua back, and the game planning of McVey, Stafford, and Kupp....that is a special connection. Lastly, Vikings were near the top in luck rankings, while Rams were near the bottom. That's way so many pros were on Rams.
Definitely not scripted imo. If it were, then you got it all figured out and should be making millions.

Who do these sites cater to? Young men. I read that 80-85% of revenue generated from these online books are from parlays. Kids taking what little money they have and buying a 'lottery' ticket. Financial literacy is not even taught in school, never mind stats and probabilities...
I see society being flushed down the toilet because there will be a segment of the population in the not-to-distant future who will be ruined by online sports betting. This is worse than illicit drugs.
In the the old days, there was an effort to place a bet whether it be at a casino or a book. You needed cash, a phone, a car. Had to drive to the track or book, talk to somebody, meet with somebody. Now, you can be taking a dump and lose ten grand in the blink of eye.
This will become an epidemic before it will get the attention of the average person. Online wagering is worse than drugs, smokes, alcohol combined.
Yet this is the chalkiest year in 15+ years in the NFL.
And who cares about sides and over-unders when all the noobs do player props.
With all these wagers available on a regular basis. Play 60-100 unique lines in game for every game after every play.
Who’s betting sides today anyway? I know I am but I don’t cry and call it rigged when my bet loses.

Games are manipulated and have been for years. Not every game is manipulated, but it happens every week and it’s not a conspiracy or paranoia, it’s fact.
I use to bet every game in the NFL every Sunday. That was 35 years ago.
I rarely bet the NFL anymore and mostly play college football/mlb/college bball.
Use to play NBA daily. That league is a circus. Load management, partnership with Vegas.
Legalization has made everything horrible. Every square with a cellphone and credit card is placing bets. You have bimbos telling clowns what prop bet to make. It’s fucking laughable.

Everyone with an IQ above room temperature would agree a majority(meaning over 50%) of people that wager on sports lose long term Why would anyone need to "fix. rig or script" games just because sports betting is legal now? Makes absolutely no sense
