This is insight, not picks. I have been sports betting for 20 years. I used to post picks on here but the haters when you lose doesnt make it worth it. I won 60k off $500 in a single week this summer. Absurd, I know. I was hitting at a 78% clip and was just going big every time. Thats how that happens... and lost it all overnight playing ridiculous blackjack because addiction got the best of me on a binge.
One thing my mind does not comprehend is that if youre up and lose, YOURE STILL UP!! i look at losing a grand (after being up lets say 5k) as being a loser and a panic. Take your loss and still realize youre up, unlike me.
One of the most true things i can tell you is that when betting a PRIME TIME GAME and you do all your research, read every article, do whatever you can to figure out the puzzle and try to find CONFIRMATION BIAS in things you read that align with your thoughts, especially on this forum...and you see everyone saying the opposite...THATS A GOOD THING....when you DO NOT find it..people that agree with you..in fact swearing on the opposite side...you'll do better and go with what your gut told you...
people are sheep...if you have a real feeling and people are consistently saying the opposite whether it be analysts or noobs on this site and you find yourself saying am i missing something...no youre not...more people opp of you in prime time game the better...you dont want everyone agreeing with you cause then youre one of the sheep
addiction leads to betting on everything especially when you get on a roll. take a day off...had a big win on cowgirls last night....im so tempted to bet again...jersey its legal to sports bet in an actual facility...wild...i lived in cali for 10 years and everything except sports betting was legal...i go to fanduel last night for the first time in jersey and its a bizarro world casino with only sports betting and what seemed like an abandon carnival outside....
if you win, you win. the longer the money stays on it will always go back to the book. take breaks my friends. enjoy wins when you get them. Just a thought.

That is insight, and thanks for putting it in writing! Amazing to have to think like you describe about what's worth it and what's not worth it. Speaking of cant't wait to give the hard earned research winnings back, it's like when you win the night before and you can't wait to see the lines and the matchups the next morning (using MLB as an example). "Let the game come to you" is famously directed at young QBs and point guards, but it's good advice all around...kick back and put the brain in neutral.
Thanks again for the great advice and the thoughts. Have a great 2021 football season, and beyond!!!
Cheers
