Homer pick or not. Vikings will cover this spread and very might come to the end of the game for a SU win.
Chicago, if they even win, will win by a FG.
Either with Joe Webb or Brett Favre injured, but I think the Vikings have the advantage here and the game plan by Frazier and company will be a superbowl type attack and get the W here.
Let's go with the ground game that everyone knows will be the key element. Wether it is the Vikings running game, or the Bears front 7. Don't be fooled by that. The real question will be how good will the Bears secondary going to play in this game and hold up to allow the box to be loaded. You can rely on your front 7 to stop the run, or you can load the box and leave either Shiancoe, Harvin, Berrian, or Rice open for a shot down field or quick slant....In the snow.
Now the same goes vice versa to Bears rushing and Vikings D. Can the front 7 of the Vikes do enough to hold the struggling Bears attack, and allow the secondary to make plays on Cutler in this situation? Or can the secondary do its job and lockdown the trigger happy Cutler so that the Vikes can load the box and feast on the offensive line of the bears?
The area on the campus is amazingly packed with both team side fans. It's absolute redonk.
The weather..Honest no horse shit info. Take it for what it's worth.
As a Minnesotan...IT IS NOT THAT COLD. Yes it is 20 degrees, but you have young kids running around playing outside like ti's nothing. So what do you think these paid athletes going to be doing? Complaining about the weather? Yes it is snowing and snowing consistently but isn't that bad. Yes people are driving slower than normal, but i was mashing thru it like nothing in an AWD subaru, so honestly, it's not that bad and the stadium grass will be decent, despite tweets from players saying it is really bad. The field has about a 30-40 degree temperature despite the current outside temps.
So in other terms, this is good old classic football weather.

you forget the Vikings are a dome team though, regardless if they lived in Minny their whole life. I dont care what Joe Webb did in college or how fast he is, that does not translate to shit. Vikes may very well cover, however they have not showed up all year, They lost their best OL and Peterson seems dinged up.
