Breakdown: Buffalo Bills Much of the Bills struggles over the past three games have been due to their running game. They are now 28th in the league in rushing the ball. That certainly won't help a 2nd year QB in Trent Edwards. Edwards needs the play action pass to hit Evans on those long gains through the air. So Why has the Bills rushing game struggled as of late leading to 3 straight loses.
vs. NE (14th ranked D vs. run 114ypg) Buf rushed for 60yds on 18carries in a game dominated by NE in terms of time of posession.
vs. NYJ (4th ranked D vs. run 84ypg) Buf rushed for 30yds on 17 carries. Edwards had costly turn overs in a one dimensional game.
vs. MIA (9th ranked D vs. run 91ypg) Buf rushed for 119yds showing that they can run the ball against good Defenses.
Luckily for BUF they are at home in a game that will force them to run the ball due to weather will be against one of the worst run stopping D's in the league as of late despite having DT Rogers. CLE has given up 496 total yards in the last 2 games vs. DEN and BAL. both games at home now their defense is on the road. CLE- over the last month they are 30th in the league vs. the rush 160.6ypg against opponents such as NYG, WAS, JAX, BAL, DEN some of the leagues best running games.
Cleveland Browns First thing I ask myself is can they win this game? The answer is now they are in the bottom 4th of the league in every statistical offensive and defensive category. In a game that will likely be important for a running game to be effective is one of their weaknesses. Jamal Lewis is just too old and his 3.6ypg is not fooling anyone. I guess you could say Brady Quinn had a nice game in his first game and many Browns backers may say CLE has a good offense... nope I'm not convinced Quinn was lucky to get into a shoot out against one of the leagues worst Defenses. They still lost the Total yards battle by over 150yards. DEN- ranked 29th against hte pass and 26th against the rush. Lewis had 61yds on 19carries, but was shut down by a terrible rush D- 29 of his 61 yards came on 1 run. Buf is solid and very balanced on D 13th overall. Their pass D is a little bit better than their run D and their CB's will pick the ball off.
You could say CLE will be able to throw the ball over the middle to Winslow who had a monster game last week right? According to ESPN Fantasy Football BUF has the 3rd best Defense vs. TE giving up an average of just 2.6rec for 26.7ypg and a total of 1TD 4 weeks ago Antonio Gates had 4rec 55yds. I don't think Winslow will be a factor in this game.
Tonight's Pick: BUF -5 (risking 3u to win 2.8u)
Final Score BUF 24 CLE 13

Cleveland (3-6) at Buffalo (5-4)

I have read quite a few reviews on here but yours seem to make the most sense all night i was trying to figure out how so much of the public got behind quinn after one start. Buffalo does make sense at home in a big game with those fans i think they are going to cover and then some the over under though still eludes me. Lots of unders yesterday with betting public thinking they know but tonight because of the weather i dont know any thoughts

i like bills and fritz always reassure me with his write ups
now the question is OVER/UNDER?
I honestly would lay off the O/U if I had to bet it I'd bet over but this could honestly be a low scoring game if their are no turnovers.. I think there will be lots of turnovers atleast 2 coming from CLE so I say over.. but if one offense gets completely shut out then you might be dealing with the under and I think that can happen for CLE tonight.. I really like their D to step up big tonight.

you cant base how bad the browns D is by how much yards they gave up to the broncos last week because the bills offense is definately no where near broncos offense....brandon marshall is a ball hog and catch anything that comes his way...and eddie royal has become a nice speedy receiver for them. ..all the bills got is LEE EVANS...he definately is NO brandon marshall...im not saying the browns D are the shit, but they have done well against the giants, cant doubt that

#1 the Giants were on the road..CLE is on the road here.. I don't see them playing like that now when Jamal Lewis is calling players out saying they are quitters.
#2 I was never basing their D off last game they are ranked terribly across the board...in every statistical category and have been playing even worse in their last 3...
I have one question who has the better offense Buffalo or Baltimore?? I think they are pretty similar.. and Baltimore put up 37pts on them.. all I am saying is CLE can't run the ball Buf is solid on D. Quinn saw the leagues worst defense last week. This spread would have been a TD if CLE's offense didn't look so good last week, and if BUF didn't look like crap..
CLE's defense is just what BUF needs to get back to where they were in the beginning of the year.

good point ..but baltimore D is better than bills hands down....i think joe flacco is a better qb than edwards
I think Edwards has more weapons on offense yes BAL is clearly better than BUF's defense... but there are two major differences that I mentioned before #1 Baltimore was on the road and they haven't played that well defensively on the road this year.. 31pts to a struggling INdy offense at the time and 23pts to Pitt who is over rated on offense.
#2 don't expect CLE to have the same offense with Quinn at QB atleast not right away.. Quinn was lucky to see DEN's defense at home in his first game.. extremely lucky.. we'll see tonight
