With Mike McCarthy as head coach, the Packers are 9-2 coming out of a bye — and both losses were to teams which were unbeaten.

Previous to this year, Green Bay played the Lions three times the week after a bye and the Packers have emerged victorious each time.

Detroit 2nd in the league in takeaways, can't tell you how many times I've capped a game based on this stat alone and won.

Last week in college, Memphis and Utah both top 10 in takeaways, both rolled.

Detroit's 3 losses all vs good teams, the teams they beat are mostly mediocre but guess what the Packers are without Rodgers - mediocre.

The red zone stuff will even out. Packers D is very inconsistent. I don't dislike Hundley but he has nothing like Stafford's experience and acumen yet, Stafford is a total pro. The Lions get to .500 with a win and to finally be able to get back at the Pack this will be a huge win. They already beat Minnesota in Minny so a win tonight they are right in the thick of the NFC north race.

Hey philly, how do you feel about staffoed ability to function under cold weather? I read his history is not so much under bad weather...

I tend to agree with Detroit pick, but I should actually lay off. Just want some action here and can not decide on a side!
