Monday Night Football Gem

Im going to get this out of the way first and tell you all that I am a Vikings Fan.. so those who like to automatically yell homer pick blah blah so be it take it for what its worth but i watch every play of this teams games every year.. this year they have been so inconsistent in alot of different aspects which makes them a frustrating team to bet on...

vikings have had a bunch of statement games this year

At rams..

thursday night.. short week.. on the road vs the clicking on all cylinders rams.. coming off a week of chaos wit everson griffens situation and the overlook of the buffalo bills at home.. Goff played perfect as you can play the qb position.. vikings still competed and lost by 7, where most teams in that game would have lost by 20+

Followed that game going to philly so back to back road games at rams and at defending champs house where the vikings lost the nfc title game in embarrasing fashion.. 

they get the win..

vs the saints.. the unbeatable saints

Who were seeking revenge themselves from the previous playoffs and losing in miracle fashion..

minny dominated that first half and were driving to go up double digits going into the half theilen fumbles on the 10 returned to our redzone where saints score get ball at half and score.. diggs stops on a rout which gets picked for 6 and game was over.. vikes beat themselves..

At bears

big game vs division leader .. bears d and mack were making plays and making it tough.. cousins played poorly throwing a pick before half and the pick 6 that really made in nearly impossible to win.. they still competed til the end and lost by 5..

At patriots

weathered the storm after getting dominated in first half.. 2 non p.i calls in endzone leads to tie game at 10.. and then the d just stopped playin.. frustrating loss .. cousins again wasnt impressive

here we are tonight playing the 5th seed seahawks in their building again on primetime spotlight..

perception is vikings cant beat a good team this year.. seahawks are unbeatable at home..

breaking down the rosters.. vikings are better

Both teams need the win.. vikings have been more battle tested having the number 1 hardest schedule in the nfl

no doug baldwin is a big lack of weapon for sea.. vikes can key in on stopping and limiting the run game.. 

sea corners will have their hands full with diggs and theilein

vikes travel to seattle constantly year after year in preseason they know what that stadium is about and this is a year where the seahawks d isnt as intimidating as years past

kirk cousins has so much to prove tonight, when hes been good hes been real good, throwing darts and movinng the offense at will..when hes been bad hes made it really tough for us to win.. hes also winless on monday night football.. im sure he knows that

dalvin cook has been looking better and better and him and murray is as good a tandem as there is.. our o line is as healthy as its been all year so important to get a good running game going on the road especially

and with all that being said everyone i know talked to or have seen make a pick on this game has said the seahawks.. line has stayed at 3.. i made a killing on the bears lastnight in that situation as i wanted bears to lose bad.. but seeing the money that poured in on rams and line not budge i took bears +3..

I know going in the vikes can look stale again kirk be bad and hawks was easy peasy and kirk becomes getting crushed for contract and him being the guy we signed.. when clicking kirk to me is a top 12 qb in this league and in this spot in this moment the vikes just need to show up today and play their game.. and i believe they will

No doubt about it, your perception is with purple goggles.  They were badly outplayed by the Rams, Patriots, Bears, Bills, and were losing to the 5 - 7 - 1 Packers at Lambeau 20 - 7 late in the 3rd Quarter - and were gifted a tie by incompetent officiating.  Vikings nation continues to believe that if Thielen doesn't fumble against the Saints they win that game, but never even whisper anything about their 80 yard td run by a 330 lb. Defensive Tackle with a batted ball against the Eagles, who were poised to take the lead. 

Cousins is 8 - 18 - 1 in his career against teams with a winning record.  Seattle, along with Kansas City, are the loudest stadiums in the NFL for a road team.  

Hawks win by double digits.

Thats the perception im talking about.. and you arent wrong.. but that doesnt mean tonight they dont play well and play vikings football.. as i mentioned they have been inconsistent all year.. but i believe the vikings are the under rated team going into tonights game.. ask anyone who they like tn they will tell ya seahawks..

toughest schedule in league.. show up tonight .. hawks are beatable

As someone who has been to 3 Vikings games this year and has watched almost every Vikings game played since 1986, I am not as confident as you.  Cousins has been terrible in pressure situations lately.  I don't see that changing tonight.  If the Vikings win, it will be because of Hunter and Griffen terrorizing Wilson.  Waynes is out, so this is a must.
