Several takeaways, Rams 4th and 4 in the first quarter and they go for it in a 3-3 game. Dumb as fck. Stafford throws a pick in the end zone at the end of the first half. Have to settle for a FG after being 1st and Goal on the 1 bc of penalties. Still in the mix to take the lead 20-17 after scoring a TD. 4 mins left in the 4th with a 20-17 lead after forcing a punt. Completely fckd that possession up as they had total control. Throwing the ball with no sense to run clock. Even had one run where the idiot ran out of bounds to stop the clock. Then they punt giving the Lions just under 2 mins to win or tie. If the Lions were going to win, they would’ve in regulation. Had every opportunity to score a TD to end it at 24-20. They weren’t even trying. It was blatantly obvious as could be. Kick the FG to force OT. It was as advertised knowing how it would end. Lions would score a TD in OT to cover. They ran the ball at will all the way into the end zone. When OT struck, the script was in. Again, congrats to the Lions backers. Pathetic to say the least. In fact I turned off the game, knowing exactly how it would end. Damn sure wished I could’ve bet that.
