Initially I strongly leaned GB and still do but the more I’ve looked into this game the more I feel that the books have nailed this line and it will come down to 1 or 2 plays maximum that decide which team covers the line.
Vita Vea the interior anchor of that Bucs D line is back and will play this weekend. He’s great at stuffing the run and rushing the passer. How will the GB O-line hold up this week? Let’s face it, Aaron Donald was severely compromised and was rendered useless in the Rams passrush last week. The battle of the trenches. Who wins the point of attack and gets pushed back? 1st qtr will tell a lot. A live bet may be the best bet here. I don’t see either team jumping out to a larger lead than 3-6 points.
Bucs linebackers are physical and quick to the ball. They’re exactly what a defense needs to defend against Aaron Jones.
Have the Packers changed since getting slaughtered by the more physical SF team? Are they ready to win a heavy weight fight and stand for 4 quarters ? I believe they are. I believe the loss to SF has prepared them for this.
My $ is on Rodgers and the chemistry he’s built with Adams and that offense to be more consistent and make 1-2 more winning plays than the past prime Brady who’s timing & chemistry with receivers at times isn’t on the same page. It’s the game clincher for me.
Brady on his 3rd straight roadie at 43 years old. Brady is 1-3 in road championship games. I anticipate he will under or overthrow or just get picked late in this game.
The juice is a bit heavy but I’m willing to eat it. I think GB covers the 3 but I feel more comfortable with the ML here as I strongly believe Rodgers heads to his second SB. The young secondary of the BUCS could be had and he’s the exact type of QB to take advantage of Arian’s poorly disciplined team.
GB ML - 175 (30 units).

Nice analysis. Love the discussion about GB physicality and whether they are up to the challenge. This is what the guys on Inside the NFL were just discussing. 3 of the panelists picked Tampa because of their physicality. Ironically, Ray Lewis picked GB because of Rodgers, whom he considers a master of his craft. I would think of all people, he would be thinking defense and Tampa, but it was the offensive players, Simms, Marshall and Smith who were picking Tampa because of their defense.

Luckily for GB, I don’t think Tampa has the coaching staff the Niners had. Brady masks a lot of deficiencies in creativity on that offense. And Todd Bowls only coaches one way. I don’t he has a plan b or c.

I really like that Tamp’s run game.. Fornette and Jones.. starting to heat up.... Tampa OL with Jenson is a beast.. GB will be trailing all game.. it will be a close one at the end with Tampa prevailing
Mayweather bet 450000 on

You got it down good here. I think it will be a close game, i can't think of how Rodgers loses this one he's wanted one in his own backyard there are several players on the team for who it will be their third NFC game in 5 years. Third time is a charm and Rodgers goes to his 2nd SB. I would wait to live bet too.. GL

It will come down to mistakes. Which team will turn the ball over more? Whichever team plays a clean game wins.

Drew Brees limitations at QB made the BUCS defense look like the 85 Bears. Go back two weeks and look what a marginally mobile QB with an arm did to these Bucs (Taylor fcuking Heineken). That dude sliced and diced this team in a playoff game.

I love it when Rogers catches teams trying to swap out players and gets a free play.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Smokescreen. Illusion.
Yet at no point were Bucs in danger of losing the game.
They were just a cat toying with a mouse

I know but their two best defensive players, and two of the best in their position in the entire league, were on the Covid list that game. That didn’t help.

TB needed FOUR TO’s to beat Rag arm Brees. The Packers and Aaron Rodgers are not losing the TO battle. There is no way GB trails this game unless the Bucs get the ball first and even then, they won’t score first. GB is a machine. I’m surprised at people thinking the MVP of the season will lose a home game to a Florida team in Lambeau in January. Fans or no fans it’s going to be cold as fuck.

Totally agree. Everyone is looking at week 6 with GB coming off a bye losing in TB 38-10. This was D. Adams first game back since he injured his hamstring in week 2 against Detroit. Timing was off and Rodgers threw 2 interceptions with one being a pick 6.
This game is at home with Rodgers in FU mode. Rodgers can do something Brees cant do anyone....stretch the field.
Because of this the TB D can't just sit on the short routes. GB wins and covers, but I am hoping for more Brady love so line goes to 3.
Otherwise like you I feel better with the ML

The above makes sense if the cameras expect to see Thomas shaking hands with a quarterback who is clearly superior in physical talent once it's all over. Just in case these things matter Pack early, but Bucs in the backdoor.

Bucs +3.5 to +4.5 by game day (Cover)
GB ML -175 or higher by game day (Straight Up)
