Very few coaches know what they are doing these days.
Minny up 17 and had to make a last second stop to win
Cincy was up 10 with 8 minutes left and lost
Jacksonville was up 14 with 5 minutes left and needed a last second field goal to win
Houston was up 17 and needed a last second field goal to win
San Fran was up double digits at half against Arizona and couldn't close it out
G-Men up 10 in the 3 minutes left and are fortunate to block the game tying Field goal
Packers up 11 with 4 minutes left and barely hung on
This analytics stuff is garbage as well. It seems like every game nowadays someone is up big and either has to hold on for dear life at the end or they lose outright. You used to only see this stuff in College but now its in the NFL as well. Only difference is in College they now blow 20+ point leads in the 4th quarter. NFL shouldn't be too far behind on this.

Couldn’t agree more. The level of coaching as at an all time low. Bill belichick teams hardly ever let a team back in a game.
Im starting to believe live betting is the way to go in NFL. When a team is down, for example AZ who you could have bet +13.5 -110 (don’t even know what the ML was) you put yourself in an outstanding position to be profitable. Very few teams can hang onto a lead and very few coaches know how to hang onto one.

facts. It’s much better to bet these games live. Better value.

NFL is like WWF/WCW to me.... that wrestling at one time when they had NWO and all kinds of personalities was unreal. NFL was brutally physical and you had tough rushers, tough defenders, really smart coaches and very good games before all the soft stuff where flags would be thrown every other play and commercials came on every 30 seconds. Plus the super bowls are shit now too I find too political.
Bill was basically the last truly great one

Perfect time to bring this topic back. Dallas on the .5 yard line on second down and goal with 30 seconds left-
How the f*ck does the coach not call a qb sneak? Instead a handoff to the running back who fumbles and almost costs Dallas the game. I will never understand how a coach could call any play except for a qb sneak in that situation.

Maybe Fields...but Dak is not built for rushing...
I thought if any team could get a stop when they needed one, it would be Pitt....but seems NO TEAM can dial up a three and out or 4 down stop...NOONE.
Dallas marched down the field like there was no defense there--only obstacles, like traffic cones. Three pass plays and zero pressure on Dak. So all the pass rush hype is just that. Show business.
